Sending slides is good enough for places like Pratt. They understand that you're far away, so if you visit them at the Portfolio Day and send them slides, you're good. You should definitely show your portfolio since you might have a chance for scholarships that way.

I feel bad that the college that appeals to me most is the one that send me the hugest viewbook thing. Like the advertising is actually really working.

i was just at grand valley today. the trumpet professor is amazing, and i must say, he kicks the UoM professor's ass.
