In your college relationship experiences how often did you and your partner spend the night together (and by spend the night I mean sleeping in the same bed not necessarily gettin down)? And was the amount of sleeping together dependent on how serious the relationship was?

at first, it was more like "not a school night" only, but then i guess when the relationship went on, it was about 3 nights more a week... depends on our general busy-ness.

A lot of sleeping together, like basically always.

More so with more serious relationships, but that may be because more time was spent together over all in more serious relationships.

but this was a serious long term relationship. otherwise, not so much.

in retrospect, i wish i had spent less time with him. im very much an advocate of space and time apart now.

and sure, its possible to have a serious relationship without sleeping in the same room all the time. i believe in all types of relationships that can work for people.

and to answer your original question (which i think i mis-answered), i think sleeping together and the seriousness of it kinda go hand-in-hand. if people spend that much time together, without necessarily having sex, then it most likely means the relationship is serious...or getting to be

i also should mention that i dont sleep very well with someone else in my bed, regardless of it being a twin or queen or whatever. i was lacking sleep for two years!!!

Honestly, no. For my personality, I tend to need a bit of space. Spending 18 out of 24 hours of the day with someone (which I did) can cause me to get frustrated and irritable. For me, I think it would be good for about half and half...maybe every other night...something like that.
