Went to see The War of the Worlds last night, it was absolutley out of this world. Words really can't describe how good it was, the feeling and intensity that everyone put into the performance. (That and the 3 tons of martian tripod, with working heat laser and black smoke helped add a bit of atmosphere)

OOh, that version is really good. Didn't know they'd done something new with it.

This was a stage show?? I just assumed you were waaaaaaaaaay behind the times going to see a movie. This looks awesome.

Yep stage show. Back in 1978 the original release of the music version was done by Jeff Wayne with the help of a variety of big names at the time, David Essex, Justin Hayward, Phil Lynot etc. They eventually updated it all, added in video with a variety of CGI etc and brought it to the stage ( ... )
