Wow, its clear your an amazing monk! I just wanted to tell you that I really appreceate the effort you put into your posts. I have attempted, however unsuccessfully, to replicate some of your fights. HAHA Fun none the less. THanks so much for the time and effort you have put into your job.
This is Corsy, from the Fenrir server. Never have I seen a Monk that's taken such care with the job...I'll definitely be adapting my own Monk in hopes of being able to do at least some of what you've done. Thanks for all the tips! I'm glad to see you always give a reason instead of just saying what to use, as so many 75s on my server do.
Hi genome 75 elvaan mnk of ifrit attempting to skill guarding but the naturally low agi has proven to be an obstacle even with all the guard gear and agi i can equip activations are far lower then expected is there any way to get around this or am i forever doomed to slow and low skill ups.
A few points of AGI won't make or break your ability to guard. You want monsters appropriate for your skill level, so lowest and numerous if it is low, the lower their melee stats the higher the chance that you can guard them when you are not evading or countering. You can reduce your counters by killing your acc, and you can still get hit by a lvl 1 monster a certain % (something like either 5% or 20%, I forget) since there is a cap on evasion rate for everything and everyone in the game.
When your guard skill level is low you can skill it up fairly quickly and easily.
