Not sure if you're aware, but the quickening effect that Sprinter's Shoes gives you stacks with other movement+ gear: aketon, trotters and w.legs for sure.

I could have sworn it stacks with nin af boots and mazurka when I tested them, but that could've just been wishful thinking on my part. More movement+ is always welcomed in towns (especially Windurst, yuck).

Yes, it just doesn't stack with flee or hermes quencher. But then again it's a limited number of charges so you have to think of whether you want to waste a charge or not each time. Windurst is not really any worse than any other town if you use the warping NPCs.

Nothing goes faster than flee speed period, it's the capped speed in the game.

Actually you can get a replacement pair of shoes for about 980 allied notes. Allied notes are incredibly easy to get: two campaigns or two campaign Ops yield more than enough for a new pair of shoes.

With the lack of other rewards (so far) in WoTG, these and the Iron Ram Shield stand out as the best and are incredibly easy to get.

MNK/DNC looks pretty interesting. I haven't even unlocked the job so I don't know anything about Dancer. Does the drain add a good amount of additional damage or is it just a way to keep you alive? Is there a recast time on drain samba or can you keep it up all the time? Seems to compliment Faith and Vishnu Cesti very well.

vishnu's cesti would do less damage because drain is reduced when the delay is reduced, and at 75 they are a very bad weapon for monk (I showed some parses in my earlier posts years ago on that). Faith is different because it gives a ton of TP which is good for MNK/DNC, and also has a lot of extra hits.
The drain apparently is added damage as well like normal drain, but it's 7-13 at most, although it does add up when you can attack up to 7 times in one turn (faith with brutal and virtue stones and kick processing, rare but it happens).
It costs TP to cast but it's ready before it wears off.

just as a note, after actually testing it, the en-drain is not added damage, just returned hp, you can test this for yourself a few different ways, with /bst sub using pettp, or with a low dmg weapon on low level monsters.

"Note 3: Somehow the en-drain effect from samba doesn't register if your hit animation happens while you dance. I would think this is a bug that might get fixed at some point, so I am not going to look into this in details."

This is actually an ancient bug. I see it all the time with enspells etc. Try it, time it right and you can totally avoid using the enspell if your attacks go off during a WS animation. They might just get off thier ass and fix it now though, with dancer being reliant on hitting the mob to keep the effect going...

Did you ever check if they get skipped completely or just don't appear in the log and animation but still do the corresponding damage? If they don't fix it that would be interesting to verify.

Never checked that but it's somewhat difficult to test since enspells are low dmg. Drain/aspir samba would make it far easier since you can see hp and mp returns. Same thing happened with DRK's 2hr once so I'm fairly confident all additional effects are under this same bug.

Hmm...
Thanks a lot ^^
It is pretty amazing that you are able to solo all your subjobs to 37 using /bst. Thinking about lvling bst to 37 to do the same too...

Actually I didn't solo all my subjobs using /bst, I soloed most of my subjobs long before some of the improvements they made to BST.
Before recent updates for example, /BST pets used to take away xp, so it wasn't as good.

For the majority of my subjobs I had to be creative and use different subjobs for different levels and job combinations, sometimes /whm or /rdm for cures, -na and barstone/shell/protect when fighting worms with ranger for example, etc.
