Hello Gnome!

I'm a girl player, mnk too, and Genome fan!

I'm just 4 month old player ; ;

I've to say that Chigre Ring is usefull for players that already haven't completed TOAU and COP to exchange for Sniper's ring.
On the other hand I use +8acc +8 att headwear on Asuran Fists Macro, Imo is better than Ohat.

Let's hope the september Update bring us something more usefull than that footwork!

hi I'm a MNK:Plant on Valefor and im still new only lvl50 i was just wondering i have Cross Counters and idk if i should keep them. People tell me that TM hooks +2 are just as good but i planned on being a career MNK so i thought i would use CC then o Wagh Baghnakhs to Destroyers, skipping anything in between. Just wanna get your opinion gil is always a factor but ill farm lots if it means getting the absolute best for Accurate and powerful Damage

At 50, Cross counters are slightly better. But as you gain martial arts and H2H skill the damage difference actually decreases and then eventually TMHooks2 take over because of the lower delay (plus the extra atk bonus).
So you can keep Cross counters for level 50 capped areas if you don't mind the eva-, but for xp PTs by the time you can wear TMHooks2 and past that you won't see much difference and if you want to sell them to get better gear somewhere else, that will increase your damage a lot more.
After 70 you would only use them in lvl50cap areas or to play around with the counter+5 and that's it because they are actually sort of bad weapons by then.

Yeah, they haven't really added anything new to Monk unlike a lot of other jobs. But, footwork really does add a big boost to Dragon Kick which is really noticeable on HNMs. With 11-12 boosts, I've hit 2.3k SADKs with an average STR build and no gorget. Just by eyeballing, it's usually 200-500 damage stronger then my usual DKs.

That being said, I believe Monk is near "perfect," which makes it hard to add to it. But, I still hope they'll add more equipment and abilities to its repertoire. Hell, maybe throw Guard Skill a bone.

Anyways, send me a tell in game some time, I haven't talked to you in a while and take it easy.

Yeah I just played so little in the last few months, I think I just logged on just to do the event, there isn't a lot of content left that interests me anymore sadly...
I'll try to look you up next time I log on
