I LOVED it. I mean, there was a lot that wasn't in the books they added and there was a lot of important details taken out, but overall the movie was simply STUNNING
( ... )
And I really, really wanted Voldemort to leave a body behind because he was so feared by everyone, they were terrified to say his name and he he was epitome of evil to them, something more than a man who didn't die. And to leave a body behind meant that he was just human.
I agree! I think his death scene would have been so much more satisfying if he'd left a body behind. The whole turning-into-dust thing was too unrealistic for me.
I always wondered why they didn't show Pettigrew's death scene, too. Maybe they thought showing him strangling himself would be too much for the audience? (...Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, considering they showed Goyle falling to his fiery death and also showing that goblin getting scorched by the dragon.)
