Strawberry Scented Burnout Synopsis
What do you do when life hands you lemons? That's what Francis, also known as "Twitchy", and "Jay" to his friends, is hoping to find out. He was once the "No Drama Bat Boy", fighting to stop pointless drama and shenanigans, and fighting for love, peace, anime girl figurines, and the right to exist as an otaku. Dumped by his longtime girlfriend, and almost losing his very sense of fandom in the process, Francis is left to pick up the pieces of his former self. At the same time, a shadowy organization plots to take away everything that Francis holds dear. Family, Friends, his RSX, the latest episodes of Initial D, his Miramar Speed Circuit membership, and his killer swag from the comic-con. In its place are things best described as boring, mundane, and most definitely not moé.
In a bid to reclaim his former power, his friends and family all join him in this quest. Each member has their own reasons for joining him. They also have their own quests that they need to work through. What awaits our heroes? Fame? Fortune? Courage? Limited edition Pokémon cards?
Nobody can really tell what'll be left in their wake. Babies will cry. Women will faint. Everyone else will play endless rounds of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And the comic book stores will be empty. All that will be left in their wake is a "Strawberry Scented Burnout".
