I have a question for all of you regarding video games actually! So far we have seen a decent amount of console games but it appears some titles are popping up frequently for PC use only, and I wonder if I am the only one who is thoroughly annoyed by this fact. For example I love Final Fantasy (my LJ says it all lol) and XIV being on the PC annoys ( Read more... )

In answer to your question: no you're not alone. XD I'm thoroughly disgusted with just how many games are now PC only; though, I do have news regarding Final Fantasy XIV. Although it is PC only at the moment, there has been talk of it being adapted for console use. From what I have heard from other people (especially those who work at my local game shops), it's already in the works and they may come out with console versions of the game within the next year or so.

I'm also waiting to see how much FAIL XIII-2 turns out to be. X-2, while it did introduce me to the games, was just atrocious.

So many newer gamers I know are all over these PC games and sequels to Final Fantasy. While I am only 22 my Uncle and Grandma played FF6 when it was released as FF3 back in 1994 I think. I have fond memories of watching them and playing it myself too. Then came 7,8,9, etc and when 10 came out with a sequel I was appalled lol.

Well if it comes out for the console I will be happy because it does look good. I honestly believe Square benefits better from console based games than anything else.

FFXIII-2 is going to just suck...IT WILL. I can tell this because the game ended and what else could they possibly do? Ugh....><;
