I really liked this. =) My favorite part was the second-to-last paragraph - both your Ed and your Roy are wonderfully in character. Looking forward to the next part!
^^ It's good to hear I managed to keep them in character. I really want to keep them as canon as a I can, even while pushing the poor dears into non-canon situations.
I love it! Your Ed and Roy are both in character to a point that I rarely ever see in fanfiction. The reference to La Inferno was what brought me in (I've been obsessed with studying the Divine Comedy for about three years now. XD), but the quality of the writing was what made me like it so much.
I especially enjoyed how you portrayed Roy's longing, and his inevitable decision to try and restrain himself- it seems like the sort of thing he would have done if this were canon. Great job, and I can't wait to read more! ^^
^///^ I'm so happy to hear that you like this (especially the writing). The Inferno provides some very interesting prompts/themes for writing, since there are more sins on some circles than others (eighth circle, any one?), and included are a few things that aren't on the list of deadly sins.
*pets Roy* Yeah, he was a good boy this time around. XD Pity it can't last, but it wouldn't be a decent into hell if he didn't sin, now would it?
I really enjoyed this and how Roy is pushing Ed away to try and 'do the right thing'. i wsh i could say more on the matter, but words escape me right now, and i probably shouldn;t be reading this where i am now anyways... ^^;
Nice reflective character piece. Roy's thoughts here seem very plausable and believeable, as are the actions he does or doesn't take based on those thoughts.

Anyways, I'm glad I'm not the only person who liked the idea of mixing FMA and Dante's Inferno into some angst-ridden yaoi cake.
^^ Thank you very much for reading~!
