He did apologise, but one of those hurried, obligatory, 'Oh, sorry's right before rushing off again.

If using the halls becomes any more hazardous, then who knows? I could sacrifice some class time and arrive after everybody else has already gone, or the other way around and I could arrive earlier. As long as more substances don't get spilled on me, I'm fine.

Oh, indeed. If he hadn't said anything, I would have followed him and made him say something. Still, my annoyance is that this happened at all. If people are clumsy, they should be the ones to suffer because of it, not me.

Of course, but it's one of those matters of principle. Why should I have to suffer for something so easily avoidable? If you are clumsy, you make an extra-wide berth around others in hallways.
