Thankfully, I haven't received much hassle regarding the upcoming Prom. Perhaps that girl - whom I have yet to even see again - has spread a rumour that I accepted her when she asked. If that's the case, I'm certainly not bothered by the silence about the matter it's inspired. Perhaps actually accepting an offer early is the best course of action, ( Read more... )

Perhaps that was the error in my own judgment. Announcing that I would not go does seem to have been the catalyst in my eventually deciding otherwise.
