in a way, i almost dislike having an enjoyable day. i moved back thinking that everything was just going to constantly suck and i was going to trudge through it all until i could get my master's and get the hell out of here ( Read more... )

i had a similar revelation tonight too. "hey wait, wasn't norman supposed to suck? wasn't i supposed to be miserable?? what's going on here!?"

norman is not such a bad place. there is, dare i say, actually *opportunity* in oklahoma. plus the weather is beautiful and the people are nice in that sickeningly sweet, southern way. there are worse things in the world, for sure.

to be fair, this was not an everyday occurrence. still, you're right, it could be much worse.

that's what they tell me. so far, it looks like they're right. plus don't discount eating habits and genetics. mike can eat pizza all day and not gain anything, i even look at white flour and i have to loosen up my belt. but on the upside, i can pack on mass when i lift weights pretty easily. you takes the good and you takes the bad...
