Summary: When fourteen year old Emma dies and gets sent to purgatory, she gets another chance to live when she presses the reset button on her life. But coming back as Zacky Vengeance's girlfriend, Gena Paulhus wasn't her plan.

Yes, this is a came from watching Drop Dead Diva. Just with a teen age girl and a celebrity. Ta-Da. I think I really should update my other story on Mibba. And the one-shot I need done for a contest by February 28. Just thinking about it gets me tired.

It’s funny how fast things can change. In one second I was in the passenger’s side of my sister’s car and in a blink of an eye, I was watching my body being hit in the side by a truck. Then everything went in slow motion. I saw my sister’s blood covered face gaze at my unconscious one. She shook me and tried to wake me up, screaming my name over and over again. I screamed at her to try harder, but even I knew it wouldn’t work. Moments later the ambulance came, dragging my body in a black bag. Eventually things sped up and I was watching my own funeral. Then my scene changed and I was in an all white office. I was wearing white and so was the guy behind the all white desk.

He was a good-looking man, tall with an excellent build. He was hurriedly typing away on his computer with an earpiece stuck in right ear.

“Excuse me,” I said quietly. He just kept typing away on his computer. “Excuse me,” I tried a little louder. He finally turned to me, rolling his eyes and saying goodbye to the person on the other line.

“You must be Emma.” I nodded, making my dark auburn curls bounce. “We’ll check your records.”

“Am I dead?” My voice quivered. The news hit me like a bullet. This wasn't some nightmare I'd wake from, I was really dead, never to see my family again.

“Well duh,” His eyes glued to the computer screen. “But it seems we have a problem.”

“Yeah, I’m dead, I shouldn’t be dead!” I screamed, tears streaming down my face. “I’m only fourteen!”

“Well actually honey, it’s that you haven’t done anything good or bad enough to put you in heaven or hell.” He scrunched up his face and sat forward.

“Well, then give me another chance. I can’t be dead. My family, my mom must be on the brink of suicide. She already lost my dad!”

“Sorry Hun, once you’re dead, you are dead. No restarts.” He shook his head, crossing his arms.

I spotted a reset button on his computer and decided, what the hell, it couldn’t get worse. I tried to find a way to distract him. Pulling the oldest game in the book, I pointed to the right and scream, “What is that?”

When he turned to look, I jumped forward and quickly pressed the button.

“Buh Bye.” I waved good-bye to the man in white slowly disappearing as I waited to be returned to my body.

Oh, how wrong I was.
