double standards, a response

Ugh...why do all the magazines now a days have articles about those whiny, complaining feminist women who act like dudes and have a deeper voice than I do? Seriously! What does a man have to do to find himself a true lady now a days, a woman with both obedience and modesty, who knows her place and gives a true modern man all her unconditional ( Read more... )

"The women who realize her only importance is being some 'hot piece of ass'"

Shit, no wonder you're still a virgin.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT, HYUUGA?

Just because you're some wussy Fabio-fag whose losing all of your potential macho men to women, doesn't mean you have to hate on them.

Stupid sexist. Maybe I should make my finishing move involve castration.

And yet when a woman expresses essentially the same opinion only on men, it's not sexist?

I don't even know what the hell you're talking about, idiot.

Women say shit, and it makes them bitter, but it doesn't change the fact that we are the ones getting raped by you retards, and we're the ones getting sexually harrassed at work.

Go die. Stop being a shit.

This was in response to a rant posted last night by a female member of the faculty. However, it seems to be gone now. What you are reading are her words with the gender and appropriate "roles" reversed. I don't see how one would be more offensive than the other.

I do find it interesting that one so driven on perfecting his fighting skills could find it in him to be so direct about his desires towards the usually fairer gender. You know, it seems like our views have something in common, as we both prefer the opposite gender to act how they were originally portrayed and not as if they are something different.

I'd like to feel it is possible to be both tough and feminine, to know when to be more assertive and when to be more passive, and that when it all comes down to it both men and women need to take a long hard look at what society has shaped them into and go from there.

I'd also like to commend you on being so forthright without fear of your fellow students opinions.

Unfortunately, you do not seem to understand my purpose. Or you are choosing to ignore my point.

Oh, I'm sure your purpose was to point out just how sexist it might seem for somebody to so bluntly state their preferences over another persons decisions on how to present themselves or something equally blistering, but reading your interesting recycling of my words when presented in the opposite light only showed me that when it comes to our society people obviously have their preferences on what they believe a 'true man' or 'true woman' to be.

Isn't it refreshing that we can all share our feelings and ideas in this forum without fear of reprisal?
