It's been rather frigid around here this week (and tomorrow morning is supposed to be -23 C with a wind chill of -30 / -22F), so this story gave me a bit of a giggle. Read the story, and then scroll down a bit to see an advertisement that was fun to watch last year or so.

It never gets old. :) :)

Gosh.... Mishu has the softest, silkiest belly you can imagine. I can wind my fingers through her long, fluffy, silky fur, kneading ever so gently, and she will rumble her purr contentedly. It's bliss. It's the best anti-stress therapy I know.

We've been doing a lot of snuggling the past few days...

It got COLD here all the sudden (should I blame you guys for sending it here?) . There's even the potential for snow in the forecast this Saturday (not a lot but still!!!), and it's so weird to get snow in November here. We don't usually get it till mid December at earliest.

Yeah, um... *hangs head* Yes, you should. Have you heard of the Alberta Clipper? It's named after my province, and it's quite likely that it's what you're getting now.

You know it was about this time 8 years ago (OMG, has it really been 8 years?) when you came to visit me in Florida and it was 70-something degrees F almost the whole time you were there! :)

True Fact: I left my appendix in Bozeman when I was a kid. A blizzard trapped me in the hospital for days longer than needed. Good times, actually.

I had only ever heard of Bozeman before through watching the Big Bang Theory, and Sheldon made a point of saying how cold it was. Does Bozeman have a bit of a reputation in the States for its weather?

Not Bozeman particularly but any town in Montana. (Usually it's Butte, MT.) Seriously, if ever a state is dreary, cold, isolated, insular, and unsophisticated it's that one. FIVE YEARS I WAS STUCK THERE BUT I'M NOT BITTER!!!!!1!
