What happened?

I'm rather disconcerted. You see, every few years (it might be 3 or so, or it might be up to 9 or 10), my fandom focus shifts. The current focus gently subsides into the background and often a new one comes to the fore. The old one never disappears, and it remains a beloved thing, but it doesn't receive the immediate attention that it used to

This makes me grin for some reason!

I'm obsessed with dance shows and anything dancing, and I'm unlikely to be a dancer at this point in my life. So sometimes it IS just about enjoying the shiny! :) I say just enjoy the mood and go with it! ;)

By the way, did I tell you that I have a local friend here who totally reminds me of you? She's actually from Germany, but she's a microbiologist who works in a lab here, and there's just something about her and her expressions and her way of speaking...:) (she just had a baby and there was something wrong with the baby when he was born so she's still in a children's hospital with him in a different city right now, although things are looking really good right now)/random
