Summary: After arguing with his father, Noah travels to Nottingham in England where he meets fellow American Luke, who is an aspiring Robin Hood scholar. An unexpected twist of fate transports the two tourists back in time to the 14th century. Noah finds himself working for the Sheriff of Nottingham while Luke is one of Robin Hood's Merry Men. Although they are on opposite sides of the law, Luke and Noah must work together to return to the future. Their growing closeness is threatened by the charismatic and predatory Sir Guy of Gisborne.
Author’s Notes: This story requires superhuman suspension of disbelief and plays very fast and loose with the Robin Hood legend. Definitely not one for the purists. Much of this was written while dealing with the collective behemoth known as Real Life Issues, and many thanks must go to the mods for wielding magical powers and granting extensions when they were most needed. Special thanks to Moey for tying up loose ends with great grace. Mega, jumbo-sized thanks to Holly, who is a superstar in every single way and should have petals strewn in her path wherever she goes. She made the delightful chapter headers and divider, and put together a fanmix that is simply heart-stoppingly gorgeous. Holly, thank you so much for pinch-hitting at such short notice, for tolerating the over-thinking and the pedantry, for the tremendous heart and humor in your fanmix, and for being a wonderful human being.
