I went and did it, but I wonder: Is a survey like this going to hook in a representative sample of amurricans, or a skewed set weighted toward left-coast intelligentsia? And what are the implications of either outcome, in terms of the purpose of the survey? Hmm...

Okay, I did it and am going to re-post on my own LJ, which is heavily UK/European weighted.

(Long story short, I went to Catholic school until 8th grade, went to church at least twice a week during those years, and at least once a week afterwards, until I went to college. I was never 'taught' evolution in school -I seem to recall my high-school biology teacher telling us that they weren't allowed to teach it- but I was always an avid National Geographic reader and PBS-nature-show watcher, so absorbed the notion of evolution in a rather organic manner.)
