Were you still drunk when you wrote this entry? Cuz if you were, then you need to write a fic (K/S fic) while you're drunk. Because this whole rant thing was fucking hilarious. I'm busting a gut here laughing so hard. srsly.

I would comment on some of your thoughts, but it's 1:30am and I'm too fucking tired. Loveya, though. :)

This is mad and beautiful and I, too, will comment on it later because it's way late and I have like 2 chapters left before I finish the slash fest that is Killing Time. 8D <3

Killing Time, you say? Trek novel/fic?

Novel! It's pretty famous for being written by a slasher woman. A more suggestive version of the book was accidentially published initially, and the edited version I read yesterday was put out hastily afterward. It's the second officially licensed book I've read where the bad guys have grand schemes and want Spock to help them so they kidnap Kirk because they know Spock can't live without Kirk because Kirk is the center of his existence and his everything. *facepalm* The funny thing about Killing Time is that there are a hella lotta themes that fit with the movie. I found myself picturing Chris Pine more when reading this than Shatner. It starts out with lubby dubby Spock and Kirk talking about how they've had the same nightmares (and isn't that oh so natural what with their psychic bond) but now the rest of the crew's suffering from them too and isn't something up? Why yes. The Romulans are messing with time travel. And, suddenly we find ourselves in a parallel universe in which Kirk is an ex-con, angry ensign with issues and Spock ( ... )

Hehe, your drunk!post is hilarious. <3

In "The Man Trap" when Uhura was hitting on Spock, she says something about him watching the moon rise over Vulcan and how romantic that must be, and he says "Vulcan has no moon." I think Delta Vega isn't really that close to Vulcan, it's just that Spock has some deep connection to the planet so he can "see" it being destroyed, even though it's not really in visual range.
