Shattered, caffeinated and slightly hyper.

All of the above are true if somewhat contradictory. I spent last night running the first of several mini-Amber games with Inskauldrak and some other random Scottish chap. The game went well and actually managed to allow plot to really move at speed. The best part of course being that the “Michael Suite” may well be about to be resurrected (Moohahahahah). I have to say that I am now looking forward to the other seven or so games with less trepidation, although I don’t think my body will tolerate the same levels of abuse in such a short time frame. Damn you Samuel Smiths and your reasonably priced but rather nice beer. So that was a nice way to collapse at home last night, even though for no good reason the all but two last trains home had been cancelled so I loitered at Charing Cross for the best part of an hour. Depending on how well the inter-game thing goes I may even move permanently in that direction. A whole series of micro games and then a large convocation game when the plot twists leap together.

This morning a bit cool at half five and decidedly blowy out on the platform, had a snooze on the way in and so perhaps it could have been my fault that some d!!!head in lycra viewed me as a viable target on The Strand. I am still slightly confused how you can miss six foot bloke, long coat, around 15 stones and carrying a bloody great big knapsack. Apparently though I managed some sort of invisibility trick, because he hit me, I went down he went down and now my arm and backside are alerting me to probable damage. Before anyone comments that in my early morning daze I was jay walking, it was a nice strip of road, 2 lanes wide and with big white stripes across it along with several large lollipops flashing amber. So all in all a pedestrian crossing. I did behave and after some rather direct language at the pillock I wandered into work Brock like.

So several coffees later and the world is starting to filter through into reasonable clarity. HW has just informed me that a friend of hers is looking at buying the flat downstairs from us, not particularly pleased by that for various reasons. Have had my work email access curtailed once more due to a certain member of staff who starts work at around seven pm viewing what can only be described as vast Asian mammary tissue web sites. This rather annoys me as I am now going to have to go through hoops again to get the stuff reset plus bollock some eejit tonight. Maybe this time they’ll let us all have individual logons. But no, apparently that is too difficult to do, still confused over that argument as seems perfectly alright for the 1500+ other staff just us contractors that get stuffed with group logons.

Heho, time for a snooze.
