T'was the n'th day before Christmas

Dec 20, 2006 00:45

So come Friday, and as many leave the city, who is left? Beer, yatter and fond farewells?

Hope to see some, somewhere in town, I'm guessing a duck, a beer and a few hacks.

While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
All seated on the ground,
The gently_snoozing of the Lord came down,
And glory shone around.

Depending on how much trouble shooting I have to do at t'office, I think a small glass of something alcoholic in the company of fine chaps and chapesses would be an excellent thing!

I'm working in Holborn, and may slip out for some more shopping. I'm guessing an early finish...

Early finish, has the ring of freedom to it. I'll probably be quaffing from around 2.00/3.00 at the latest in some pleasant hostelry not too far away from Paddington.
