Home, Home on a Plane

It looks like we're going to be in Texas for about 3 weeks come Wednesday, October 13. We're flying into Dallas that day, and are trying to compile a schedule on "what to dos" until that Sunday, when we'll be driving down to San Antonio. He might even get to see grand ol' Shertown, America. That experience in and of itself cannot be surpassed. ( Read more... )

Mkay, he and I have talked about going to Denton to see my, what he calls, "peeps." I guess we could go out to dinner somewhere or something if you wanted to. We get in on a Wednesday, I think, but I don't know what time yet, depending on the tickets he chooses. Since I've never driven in Denton, either, I'm kind of worried about trying to find places.

I really hope we get to come...

As of now, it looks like it would be Thursday on the way to Sherman. You guys have to let me know your class schedules so we can figure it out. Maybe even on Sunday on the way down to San Antonio, coming back from Oklahoma. But I'd say Thursday the 14th is the way it's looking at the moment.

I'm impressed people want to see me. How weird is that?

I'm in central Oklahoma & it'd be killer to get to meet ya. I might even be able to talk Brian into a bit of a road trip to do it.

Omigosh. If you've never been to Fogo de Chao, in Dallas, I recommend it highly. It is so good! It's a little pricey, but it's worth if if you have the money to drop. All you can eat Brazilian barbecue. They bring skewers to your table with things like Filet Mignon and Pork Tenderloin. Pretty much the Atkins' dieters dream, although they have an awesome salad bar too.
Beltline and Midway, right off the interstate.

I love kittens. Brian won't even let my cat live in the backyard here and my parents are talking about taking him to the pound. :(

Doesn't sound like a place you can wear jeans and flip flops to. I'll talk to Jason about it. We might be going to eat with my aunt who lives in Arlington on Wednesday after we get in; you know, having to hit up all the relatives and such.

I don't know if it's sad or not that you know the street names of where this place is at.

If Brian likes dogs, you could just teach the cat to hump legs and chase cars, maybe attach some fake floppy ears to it, and there you go.

You can glue a picture of me to a popsicle stick and make it lay on your couch. That about sums up my personality; I bet that's the closest you can get to the real thing.
