Raceday 2006 Final Results
Final races were rained out on Saturday, so the winners were determined from the Preliminary times.
Edit: The times are from an email that the Sweepstakes Chairman sent to assocs.sweepstakes on Friday, April 21. It was announced at the Chairman's Meeting on Saturday that due to the rain cancellation, final results would be based on Preliminary times.

Explanations of DNFs and DQs (the ones I witnessed)
Beta's B team was DQed for a Roster violation, although they had a pretty rough roll anyways. They started out ahead of Spirit A (yup, Beta B was ahead of Spirit A). In the Chute, the Beta buggy spun 1/2 counter-clockwise, then the driver corrected herself. She was close to the inner hay bales, but Spirit's buggy sneaked in between the Beta buggy and the hay bales. It was frightening to watch, but there was no contact between the buggies. The Beta chairman hopped out of the Follow Truck and pushed the buggy up to the Hill 3 pusher.
Fringe Men's B was initially DQed due to their C team finishing faster than their B team. The DQ may be reversed, as the result was not intentional.
Kappa spun and crashed into the inner hay bales during their women's race. The driver was fine and agreed to race in the men's heats. During the men's heat, the rear axel slipped sideways (again) before the second transition and the steering became erratic. The Kappa chairman yelled to the chute flag to show the brake flag, and the buggy stopped before the chute.
SDC crashed in the Chute. The buggy dragged along the outer hay bales and came to a stop. The driver was fine.
SigEp lost mass on multiple buggies. I didn't see the women's DQ, but I've been told they lost the hatch covering their rear wheel on the Backhills. During Men D's roll, they lost a small metal cylinder in the Chute. (I'm not saying what it was, so don't ask.)
Spirit got DQ'ed for a transition violation. (I don't know where.) The Spirit Men's B team suffered a popped wheel in Hill 2. It was loud enough to sound like the starter pistol. The pusher slowed the buggy and led the driver to the side of the road.
