[Is busy working over a kettle, trying to make something edible out of all these foreign foods. He was used to cooking in his own time but it was taking some trial and error here. Everything needed to be tasted first in order to learn what sort of flavor the had]

If only we could have brought more supplies from the ship…

I take it your from Earth then? Most of these ingredients seem to have their roots traced back to that planet.

Thank you, if I'm going to be here for an extended duration I'm going to have to learn all I can about these resources.
