GRADING STRUCTURE
25% Class Attendance
35% Class Participation
15% Quizzes
25% End of Term Project

Class Attendance
F: Does not attend.
B: Posts a comment that the character is attending class.
A: Posts comments in a class discussion.

Class Participation
F: Does not participate.
C: Posts a comment that the character has completed the assigned reading.
B: Actually participates IC in a class discussion pertaining directly to the assigned reading.
A: Participates IC in a class discussion, making pertinent, well-thought-out comments. A+ at instructor's discretion.
NOTE: Some class participation will include writing assignments. Students will usually be given time to write these in class, and they count toward the participation grade.

End of Term Project
F: Does not submit project.
C: Gets the project topic approved and posts a comment that the character is presenting it.
B: Actively gives the project presentation IC.
A: Actually WRITES the project and present it IC. A+ at instructor's discretion.

Quizzes
F: Does not take quiz.
B: Posts that the character is taking the quiz.
A: Posts an answer to the quiz. A+ at instructor's discretion.

Make-up work and extra credit is available -- will be either offered by the professor or upon request.
