My thoughts on the WC:

1) how awesome are those Caps jerseys? They make me feel like a kid watching them again. They HAVE to stick around. Red starred pants = awesome.

2) the baby Caps give this team such life. Beagle and Perrault are everywhere. 39-83-26 is a 4th line to love. <3

3) I can watch that Steckel shoulder hit on Crosby over and over again

I had the same reaction to the red star pants/old logo sweaters too, I felt like I was a kid again watching the caps play. I totally didn't expect that (also people were bitching about how the caps WC jerseys -- the ones the team wore -- were heat pressed logo and I have to say I didn't notice).

Beags had a great game. 83-39-26 were dominating in the O zone which was crazy.

Before Fehr scored his first goal, you could tell he was ready to break out. I hope he can make this his season.

I think they always switch ends in the 3rd. I remember when we were in Buffalo at the 08 WC, we all got really confused when they did that.

Ersk has been having a pretty damn good season. I don't find myself yelling at him much at all.

Here's hoping HBO does more NHL 24/7 after this set is done. I would watch any team.
