I know it's been.... forever... since I said anything but..
AHHHH OHMYGOD I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU.
(and she looks kinda how I imagined Riley when I read the free blurb bit at the book-buying site... even if I still haven't got a proper paper-and-ink copy yet... I want one but... yeah, life.)
Well, I haven't been giving you much to respond to here!
She really does fit Riley so well. There was a miscommunication before the table read of the script, so I thought a completely different actress was lined up for Riley. When Marem started to read, I thought, "Oh, her?" but before she got to the end of the first line, I thought, "OH. HER."
I think a lot of it is... beyond a wall? Like I can feel the excitement but I'm holding it back because I know how overwhelming it would be to let it all out at once. ;D I just can't believe there's an actress out there who is not only preparing to be a character I created, but she also loves the character (she called Riley "my warrior love" on Twitter :D)
CONGRATS!! That's so awesome, Geonn! It's really exciting and I can't imagine trying to hold back shouting from the rooftops if I were in your shoes. I'm so looking forward to watching this when they're done filming it. And to think, "I know the guy wrote it!"
