Weird, I didn't know the AA did home repairs. In the US the AAA will do two things, jump start or tow. Oh, I suppose they will sell you gas too? While checking on UK adverts, to see if they have followed the US line of portraying all men as idiots, I came across this.

There is one over here that shows men as idiots -- it's for an oven cleaner: "So easy even a man can do it."

However, despite complaints, it was upheld by the ASA. See this Guardian article, which has the ad in it.

I haven't seen it in a while, but it was aired for some time a couple of years ago.
