"Oh good, so I'm not the only jerk that completely spaced," he laughed, holding up the flowers and peaking out at her from behind them. "Happy Valentine's Day?"

"You're fantastic-" she said, pushing herself up on her toes to kiss him lightly. "Honestly- I barely know what day it is- I can't believe I forgot-"
Not that she ever had a reason to remember in the past.
George might have been her very first Valentine.
"These are beautiful," she told him.

"I'm just thankful the Prophet went with the full heart-themed layout again this year or it would've blown past me, too," he grinned against the light press of her lips.
"So," he half-shrugged, giving the bouquet in his hands a quick shake and quirking an eyebrow slightly, "I don't exactly have anything wildly romantic planned, but, I figured, we've sort of mastered the comfortable-day-in thing, yeah?"

She reached for the flowers in his hand, breathing them in briefly before she moved from his grasp, bringing the bouquet into the kitchen.
"Besides, how could I possibly say no to curling up with you?" she called to him as she grabbed a vase.
It really did sound the perfect way to celebrate. Especially when she recalled the firewhiskey he'd carried along with him. The idea of curling up on the couch, nuzzled against his chest with some wonky comedy movie on the telly was already making her feel a little giddy.
"I guess I should go and change-" she said, then, once the bouquet was properly arranged.
