He is a character in James Joyce's Ulysses, which i started last summer but didn't manage to finish before being swept away by the tide of English degree reading lists.

I feel that I cannot give any satisfactory answer to any questions about the private life of lobsters.
How about the ugly incident though? Did they sit through all the crustacean bestiality happily enough, but they someone spilt their tea and all hell broke loose? I think I may be forced to read this book.
