Well as I haven't seen any good new movies recently (even though it probably is more fun to review bad ones) and considering my emotionally crippled state, I'm going to follow Sandy and bitch and moan about political events

Oh come on. London's just been bombed. A guy who consequently is already as suspect (they had been watching his house, so even if he's not a terroist, he's something shady) leaves his house, in the middle of summer, wearing a padded overcoat. They as him to stop. He starts running. They chase him. He jumps a turnstile and runs onto a train filled with people.
What if he had been a bomber? To behave like that, he must have something wrong.
if only i got up enough to read the advertiser at home before the parentals took it to work. if only i watched some news in the holidays instead of msning and studying and gymming and bumming.
anyways who'd shoot a brazilian guy? can you imagine the dreamy brown eyes and the golden tanned skin...
(not making any sort of political comment either way here my darlings, as i believe i am dramatically under-informed. we have.. 11 hours left of holidays. sob.
he must have something wrong? so we should shoot him?:| even if he was a terrorist killing him is more than questionable, and they shoot him at the possibility of being a terrorist. Do you think it would have been different if he was english?
Now this is where the horse with a sword would jump in and defend me.
it's that thing about the greater good...there's a fancy word for it that we learned in tok, but it's rather evasive.
essentially, they'd rather shoot a man in the belief that he was guilty than let him run into a crowd full of people and detonate a bomb. it's morals - if he really did have bombs, then they saved lives - he didn't, so we're left with an innocent dead and criminals still on the loose. there's no right answer, so you can air your opinions however much you like and you still won't find one.
i'm sensing a lot of value laden arguments here that i might avoid :P
anyway - i don't think you'd want a horse with a sword to defend your views.. one, horses have terrible sword technique, and two, it would probably get shot too...
