Well, I feel a lot better although still a bit stuffy in the head. I'm very tired today and I'm not sure why. It figures -- the night I get the most sleep is when I'm the most tired. Glad it's the weekend, that's all I'll say. :)

Unfortunately, I really did nothing productive at all today. Techincally I should be updating this on thatbritishboy since it's ( Read more... )

LOL! That's so cute! I love my Kougra, too! ;_; And I'm mad about my Quiggles! I hope they don't redo theeeeeeeeeem! *whine*

You know... they should have forced everyone who voted for the screaming Kougra to adopt one! XD;

What happened to the Quiggles? I must have missed that. o.O

The human-sized, screaming Kougra was hideous! Goodness.

Hahaha yes, it WAS hideous, but the humor of it cracked me up XD;.

And nothing happened to them. I just meant to say that I'm really fond of them! LOL! I think all these revisions are kinda iffy since most people chose their pets and are happy with them and then they change them up and people are upset.

On the other hand, a lot of revisions were for the better and made people like them more in general, like the Lenny for example. But so far I think there were maybe 2 or 3 revisions I liked and the rest I thought destroyed the very essence of what I thought the pet was about. Like the Lupe who was turned from a proud wolf into this little puppy, or the Skeith's sleezy grin, just gone. The Cybunny's cute face and broad smile.

Things like that... so I really dread what they could do to the Quiggles since they do have a couple of poses that aren't so nice. But all the Quiggles that appear lately are really ugly IMO. I hope they leave my Quiggles alone ;_;.

I rather like most of the revamped pets, however. I think the uni was hideous before and I greatly prefer the redrawing. I also really like the newest kougra; I had no desire to have one until they redrew it. I didn't have any prefference on Lupes before and I suppose I see the 'puppy' syndrome people mention of it but over all, I still like the design (I have one now, although she is my lab ray pet).

I never liked the old Cybunny and I much prefer the new one. I'm not sure I ever was aware they redrew the Skeith. When you say "the Quiggles that appear late are really ugly" what do you mean? The ones that appear in art, like the caption contest? I would agree; I've never been fond of Quiggles personally but I think that the ones I've been seeing around the site are even less attractive than the pet itself, mmm.

But, they can't please everyone, I suppose. :/ I hope if they do redraw it it's a design you like.

I'm slow... somehow I missed that you had another LJ? So I just added you.

And congrats on your new Neopet. Awww. :) There's nothing wrong with being in your 20s and playing Neopets! I'm almost 23, and Jamie is almost 25... yay for older 'kids'! :)

Aah, I'll go add you back shortly :)

I suppose there is nothing wrong with being an adult and playing neopets but at the same time, 'kids' tend to be a bit baffled. Honestly, though, I tend to be more baffled that they're so much better/wealthier at it than I am! *laughs*

I used to play Neopets. Every once and a while I go back, and play for a bit more, but eventually I remember how my stupid sister (four years older than me) put my ELECTRIC EYRIE up for adoption so she could get a blue gelert on MY account! And it makes me sad,
Even worse, the guy who adopted my ELECTRIC EYRIE got his account frozen!! So depressing.
But maybe I should pick it back up... I just have to remember my user name and password.

Well, it's time consuming at times and tedious but I like to play at work because many of the games are mindless that I can while on the phone or such (like pyramids or black jack).

It's terrible to hear your sister abandoned your electric Eyrie. Very mean of her. :/ I would be crushed if I lost my starry ixi.

I know. It killed me.

I have a Silver Eyrie right now. I love him as much, but still, the Electric Paintbrush was a gift from a friend of mine.

My dearest wish is a fire paintbrush, but they're, like, impossible. I wish I had more NP... ;_;

Well, fire PBs aren't as expensive as the new Royal ones, that sell for about 1.2 million nps! I'm always playing games trying to get money. I have several big items I plan to spend on soon so I'll be poor soon. :)

I'd like to win the lottery, that's all. ;)

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better, anyway.

(And it gives me a chance to show off my J/G icon(s) :P)

A very nice John/George icon it is, too. :) I approve.

Don't know if you've seen the segment in "First American Visit" DVD, but George asks John for a cigarette and John gives him one ("It's a big cigarette for a big man") and then they say together, "George and John, buddies and pals!" It's quite a slashy moment, to say the least...
