Hey, so it looks like I'll actually be going on a trip this weekend. We were hoping to go up to Seattle, but it's a 23 hour drive from here. Since we only have about 3 days, that meant we'd be driving for two of them. So instead, we decided to stop short and head to San Francisco. Oh, it's not a big deal.
Me and two of my friends, Steve and Ivan.

If it was a big deal, I would've been a lot more cryptic. Something like "A few people are going somewhere to do something for a few days".
