Wow, and I thought the effort to remove spilled animal fat from a highway ramp was weird.

(For background, this was near Proctor & Gamble, which makes soap from animal fat and acid. A truck carrying animal fat overturned and coated the interstate ramp. For the next month, Cincinnati was treated to daily updates on which cleaning solution had been tried and failed to remove the fat. A couple months later, a truck of acid turned over and dissolved a part of the concrete. Sadly, it was not on the same ramp.)
