I have to say, that is probably one of the best analogies for human imperfection I've heard. We start off with all the potential in the world and at some point something slips and a part of what we could have been is lost and it cannot be put back. But I think the greatest point made was that (and I apologize if I interpreted wrong) the flaws are what defines us and even though we may not be perfect, we are not necessarily of less worth than when we started ( ... )

I think you've got it, it's a basic idea but based on your additions I think you've got the finer ideas as well. I also get what you're saying. Well done.
