I think you need to be taken out back and shot for those composer puns.

As for the laugh, I can SOOO see that happening and wish I had been there.

Oh, who is up there with the duck?

You need to blog more often. Yes. Amusing.

The duck pictures come from this collection.

Along those lines, there's a webcomic called "George the Duck" now? News to me. It's horrible, mind you, but it's there.

Oh, and to add to the list:

Dr. George B. Duck, MD - Richmond, VA

It's there.

That cartoon is HILARIOUS and BRILLIANT. It'll provide me with an infinite source of LJ avatars and MSN icons!

1) The duck picture is awesome.

2) I must be music geek #3, because I absolutely loved those puns.

3) Monica Whicher is fantastic, but I felt kinda sorry for her. She was very frustrated with herself and her performance because she wasn't feeling very well. I noticed her taking some sort of cough mints or something in between her arias, and she took all of the high Bs and B-flats down an octave. But I mean, if that's what she sounds like when she's not well, then holy shit.

I think she went through an ENTIRE packet of halls or Fisherman's Friends or whatever throughout the performance. I'm impressed that she persevered and sang the whole thing anyway--I can think of a few people who'd "call in sick" inthe same situation.

Oh, and regarding the puns...

...don't stop.
