Someone stole my bike!

I went to get it about an hour ago, and couldn't find it. Went across to the police station (across the road) to report it, and there's a guy there waiting to see someone. He says 'I've got one you can have, I've just bought a motorbike'. It's a better bike than mine, but in need of maintenance - back wheel's buckled, and it needs new tyres/tubes,
