I don't want to sound rude or anything but there is something disturbing, for me at least, in a situation that involves Alex, Olivia and violation in the same sentence.

To be clear, it's not A/O getting down and dirty I have a problem with. What i find disturbing and totally out of place is the use of the word "violating", considering svu context and the particular circumstances of Olivia's conception. Olivia's consent doesn't alleviate the real and symbolic charge of the word.

I appreciate your honesty, just because I know that certain people do not call others up on it.

I understand where you're coming from as well, however, I have to disagree (personally, I'm not saying you're terribly wrong, because obviously you've got a point. But for me reality is relative and it's fiction, and I simply don't and won't reduce my thoughts and writing (even if it's nowhere near perfect) because of the circumstances of Olivia's conception or the nature of the cases that SVU handles.

But thank you for speaking your mind, as i said above: I really appreciate it. ;)
