Hey, as I was driving yesterday I was thinking about this...is it Martin's church who believes that women shouldn't be allowed to pray aloud in public or something like that? I vaguely remember that there was something different with his church in regards to the way they view the role of women, but I couldn't remember what it was.
Our church believes that if there is a man present, then he should be the one to lead the prayer. On a husband and wife aspect...it is up to how they look at it. But, in church services all prayers are led by men...if that answers it.
All the beliefs and what is done in services is done because either we were commanded to do it...or by example...or we refrain from doing what is not authorized. So, in the Bible women did not lead prayers in front on men, men always led them if women were present. So, by example...we do the same. Make sense?
