This has nothing to do with your journal being friends only, so you can delete this after you read it if you like.. I have a community frosted_pie for Alias Icon makers, I noticed that you were a member of other alias communities and sent you an invite to my community, however LJ has stopped emailing invites so hardly anyone knows about the invites.

I would not be insulted if you rejected the invite, I just wanted you to know about it. This is the link to accept or reject my invite.

ooo new layout shiny... anyway... thats not why i stopped by. I'm actually here because I want to know how you added a banner to the top of your community stargate_chorus because I'm starting up a community and a suck at these things. Any help would be loved *g*

Ooh, banner help? Sure thing. This tutorial here will help you shift the content of you journal down, and this one will show you how to insert your background (false header). Make sure you're using S1 and you add all of these codes into the override box. Since you are using two overrides, you'll have to merge them. This tutorial here should show you how to do that. *poke* me again, thanks for your help before, it's coming along well. But i was also wondering if you knew of any tutorials, places etc. that could help me with designing an Opal layout, specifically puting a banner in and adding extra components. I know how to do this with Component but not with Opal.
