I need some help!!!

Howdie folks of the Washington DC area...I am looking for a GAY primary Care Physician. Does anyone know of one accepting patients, and/or any resources I can use? I tried Whitman-Walker, but they don't accept my insurance. Can someone out there help me out?

There are several excellent gay doctors in DC. Theo Hodge and .... Dotson have a great practice on Penn in Cap Hill. They are both excellent doctors. I have a friend on LJ who sees Dr. Pistone who I believe is in Dupont Circle. My friend really loves that doctor. The last doctor I had in DC was a Dr. Leslie Fenton who had an office at 17th & R. He was a bit older and might have been straight (I never asked and he never said) but he had lots of gay patients and a couple of his staff were gay. He was a really nice guy and very helpful.

Of course, not living in the area, I don't know which of these guys are taking new patients, but you can always call to find out. Whenever I needed a new doctor, I would grab a Blade, scour each page for ads for doctors and then look them up in my insurance plan's doctor list and I always found at least one that could take me.
