Galveston sunrise

I love Galveston in the early morning.  An hour or so before sunrise, everything is still, and then slowly all the birds wake up and the wind picks up and the waves get stronger.  The seagulls start flying around aimlessly and squawking, the little sand birds scurry around on the ground, and the pelicans fly in groups of 5-10 rarely flapping their

That's just gorgeous! I don't know if I mentioned that I visited there back in 1997. Had the best Cheesecake I've ever tasted at Joe's Crab Shack! Did they rebuild that place after the terrible hurricaine you had there a few years ago?

They're still working on rebuilding some places. I don't know if Joe's was damaged but some parts of the island were definitely hurting.

I also had a great time at Moody Gardens. Do you know if that suffered major damage!
