Got back home from Wyoming yesterday. Saw a fault with 40,000' of displacement. Lots of other good geo stuff too. Truly an amazing part of the world.

Vertical or horizontal displacement? Or was it some combination of the two? 40,000' is a whole heck of a lot of feet!
