This summer wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst, either. The day I move to New York is closer than ever and it is somewhat nerve-wrecking, because the closer the day is the more I realize that it is actually happening. I am so glad you wrote that, because it was an extremely powerful and well-written essay (of sorts). I have always found you to be attractive- though not in the typical, A&F-wearing, macho way. I've discussed this with people before, and I have always said that your personality increases your attractiveness infinitely.

You are one of the most open-minded, genuine, honest, caring people I've ever met. You always have been. And that, your attitude, your patience, your ability to accept almost everyone... that makes you more attractive than any model, jock, whatever.

Look back on this post when you're feeling down. Because I think you hit the nail on the head. Outward appearances don't mean everything. The person that is inside is what makes the difference.

i totally understand how you feel about nyc. i feel the same way about brazil, its something i've wanted for so long, but know its going to be such a different lifestyle. just enjoy the ride :)

but, i'm going to be home in jersey for a week before leaving for brazil in october and am planning on going into the city for a day/night. let's be in touch about meeting up sometime then?
