My 10-year LJversary is coming up this Friday. Ten years! I have isiscolo to thank for my initial invite (back when one needed an invite to actually join). Remember how you had to ask me twice, Isis, after I turned you down the first time? Sheesh!

Likewise, sweetie. My ten-year LJ anniversary is next August, and I could pretty much paraphrase almost everything you've written here. We came for the fandom, but stay for the friends.

You've all enriched my life much more than I ever could have envisioned. Life takes you by surprise, that way.

I had to look it up, but apparently I've been on LJ for 11 + years.

What a wild and crazy ride this has been. As Cordelia said, the friends I have made here have enriched my life substantially and in ways I would never have dreamed possible.

Happy Anniversary! :) My 10-yr is in Nov. Like you I rarely post anymore though I check here often. Force of habit? I do miss the active days of LJ.

Ditto, dear! One of my memories of you, IIRC, is being involved in a great conversation while we were crossing a busy street somewhere. Part of my brain was trying to pay attention to not getting run down, but the rest was just, "Oh, fannishness with a new friend, squee!"

We luckily did not get run down.
