Um. As you always say: pics or it didn't happen.

We're really blessed to have internet, and even more blessed to have power. If we lose that, we lose the pump, and then we are fucked. The water we're drawing out is so clear, pretty much all rainwater, looks like you could drink it. The drain looks pretty good; we have it cleaned out periodically and there are no tree roots between here and the main sewer. Yes, good homeowner maintenance pays off FTW!

Usually we too are pretty dry. In fact, we started our summer under a stage 2 drought, with serious water restrictions. How we long for those days...

Thanks. It's not even over yet, we keep having more storms and lots more rain. Our terrain is not ready for this much water; it's what they're calling a 500 year flood of "biblical proportions". Never thought I'd hear the Weather Service using that term.
