Too often I find myself in the position where I disagree with something somebody says or God forbid, writes on the internet, and I disagree strongly enough that I feel the immediate urge to respond to it. You know, I fight with Rachel every day, and I come out of it with a new perspective and so does she. Confrontation is still a form of communication. The point of an argument is not to change that person's opinion--it's to discuss a subject that is disagreed upon by both parties and come to an understanding.
