Putting out a plate of hummus and pita makes white people very comfortable.  It reminds them of home since at any given time a white person has hummus in their fridge.  Even the most barren white refrigerator will have a package of the stuff next to an empty Brita filter.

i thought i was a special person but i totaaly have two things of hummus next to my brita filter pitcher....

lol that's awesome. i have mostly alcohol in my refrigerator. none of it is mine.

oh man I am so white. I am addicted to hommus. It's in some strange place in my mind where i consider it both a sneaky comforting snak and a healthy option. weeeeirrrrd.
