I have been a bad trekker lately. I haven't been keeping up with my trek news for the past several days. So today I went to catch up on all the goings on in the Trek universe and I discovered something that is highly upsetting to me.
Apparently George Takei the actor who played Sulu is GAY! Read the StarTrek.com article here. I couldn't believe it

I honestly did not know the man was gay. I was completely blindsided by that article. I feel like a bad trekkie for not knowing.
